I See a Bad Moon Rising

Beware the moon, lads. 

Truer words have never been spoken… at least in the English countryside. That of course was the warning that Jack and David received shortly before they wandered off the road and on to the moors… during the full moon. We all know how that ended.

It ended up being An American Werewolf in London, one of the greatest werewolf movies of all time.

On this episode of Monster Men, Hunter Shea and I sat down and off the tops of our heads try to think of as many werewolf movies as we could, and comment on each as we went along. How did that end? I’d say pretty well… but see for yourself.  And while you are at it, let us know what we missed, which werewolf movies are your favorites and which are for the dogs.

24: Live Another Day Promo

This blog was first created as a home for my weekly 24 recaps and commentaries. For about three and a half years, 24 has been off the air after Jack Bauer disappeared off the grid as a fugitive. We all thought it was the end, unless they decided to make a movie or something.

I have kept busy with a bit of blogging, but mostly with my web show, Monster Men, that I host with my buddy, horror author Hunter Shea.

But last night, during the Super Bowl, Jack Bauer made an explosive appearance in a teaser for the new mini-series 24: Live Another Day. And to top it off, the clip also featured everyone's favorite computer hacker, Chloe O'Brien.

Needless to say, I went nuts and so did Facebook, Twitter and my phone. Everyone is fired up for more. 24 fever is back, just like Jack. And so am I.
