On behalf of The Monster Men I would like to express our
sorrow and sympathy to the victims and families in Colorado. It’s hard to find
words at a time like this so I am posting this image that I borrowed from the
Batman on Film page in honor of all of those affected by this tragedy.
It’s times like these that I try to stop and focus on what’s
really important and how precious and fragile life is. I will take this
as a reminder to count my blessings and appreciate the great people in
my
life.
Movies are a big part of our lives. We share them with our families and friends and they can even open the door to new friendships. They bring us hours of entertainment, escape and lifetime of memories. That such a horrific thing would happen at a place that brings us such joy only adds to the sadness.

As you may know, I am a huge Batman fan and I was at a midnight showing of The Dark Knight Rises. I was stunned when I heard the news later that morning. The movie and this tragedy will forever be linked. A lot of people are understandably hesitant to go back to a theater. Personally, I decided to go right back and see the film again later that weekend because I love the movies and
don’t want anyone taking that special place away from us.
